Hello Crafty Miners and welcome back to another edition of Spotlight. This week we spotlight Expo 1.10 to see all the new features that have been released. So let's get to it!
Several new blocks are now available to use. These include the Magma block, the bone block, the Structure block, Nether Wart Block and the Red Nether Brick.
Of note, the structure block can be used to take existing structures or buildings, copy them and then paste them anywhere in the world. Trans-hub has already utilized this new technology to copy their transportation station several times to various locations. Public works is also looking at using this block to create standard public structures that can be placed around the city, such as the teleportation booths.
Lastly, we say hello to a new animal that has been discovered; the Polar Bear. These creatures come from the frosty lands of snow and ice. This particular fellow is the first in the World of RAAR. Once this exposition is complete, he will be safely transported to a newly announced Animal Preserve that will be located in north Imperial City.

Welcome back to the World Of RAAR News. This week we continue our recap of the happenings of the last two months. There's a lot to cover so let's get to it.
EPIPHANY IN JURSAMMIC PARK
Sam Co. owner SammyMacman has nearly completed his estate home located on the northern boundaries of Jursammic Park in an area known as Epiphany Gardens. The gardens were once a desolate area but for a floating rotunda of birch woods, however, since its discovery by SammyMacman during the reconstruction of the nearby Celt Helm Castle, the gardens have slowly been developed with paths, vegetation and now with an estate home.
RESTORING THE PAST
Located in the northern lands of Jursammic Park, Celt Helm Castle has slowly risen block by block from the where its ancient foundations once stood. Over the last several months, Sam Co Construction has been restoring this monumental castle from the ground up. The immensity of the castle covers most of the land it sits on and even delves into the northern ocean where an enormous sea wall gate stands.
Tourists are now permitted to explore the restoration site though much of the interior of the castle is still months away from completion.

EXPO 1.8 COMING SOON!
Sept. 2, 2014 is tentatively the day when Expo 1.8 will be arriving in Imperial City. A new Expo center has been built on the third floor of the Tri-C Tower for the occasion. Pending all goes well, the exposition to showcase the new blocks and technologies that are arriving will happen this Tuesday.
Residents of Imperial City are encouraged to check out the expo and see what new and exciting things are on display.
NORTHERN EXPANSION
Imperial City has begun to grow northward. After scrapping plans for a northern bridge, City Council has moved forward and approved plans to create a land bridge that will extend north to the future location of the arena.
"Council feels this will be a better solution to city expansion as new lots for businesses will be made readily available." said Mayor Talamer shortly after the close of the council session.
A week after approval, Tri-C engineering were already hard at work building sea walls and moving dirt to create the new land mass.
LINKED UP
Trans-Hub has announced that they have begun adding teleportation booths throughout Imperial City. The booths offer residents a quick way to navigate the ever growing city.
WALLED IN
The winding river that flows through Imperial City has now been contained with an immense sea wall. The newly constructed wall will give both the river and city more definition.

SNEAK PEAK
Sam Co has announced it has been working on a new National Park. Stoney Mountain will be the latest natural preserve in the world of RAAR. Below is a sneak peak at the lodge.

Hello Crafty Miners! Welcome to another edition of the World of RAAR news. This week we have quite a few updates. So let's get to it!
TRANS-HUB SUBWAY READY
After a few weeks of intense construction, Tri-C Engineering confirms that the Trans-Hub Subway Station has been completed. Incorporated into the new design is a receiving system that will teleport the passenger into the station once the rail car has arrived.
Crews have now shifted their focus to completing the subway tunnels and to begin construction on satellite stations for the tunnels to connect to.
Time will still tell when the new technology will arrive to the city that will see the rest of the Trans-Hub Station shifted from it's current location across the street to this new location.
RAIL ALIGNMENT
The first subway connection has been made. The Imperial City subway system has now been connected to the Grand Central Station. This means that the city system now has access to the international rail system.
The new subway system has prompted city officials to approve a plan to upgrade Grand Central with the new launcher/receiver design as was instituted in the Trans-Hub Subway Station. It is expected that the new system can be implemented swiftly with little interruption to services.
IMPERIAL PLAZA LOBBY RENOVATION
After months of renovation, Imperial Plaza's lobby final takes shape. The concept has moved away from earth tones and has moved into a brighter look.
The renovation was sparked by Sam Co.'s desire for office space within the building and subsequent expansion. Imperial Plaza was first home to Mayor Talamer when he first settled the area. The building has seen multiple renovations over the coarse of the years. Once the hub of transportation, it has now become a hub of business.
Plans show that an elevator system and additional office space are yet to be incorporated into the tower, which houses Trans-Hub Inc. and Sam Co. Construction.

SAM CO. OFFICE RE-OPENS
Sam Co. has re-opened it's doors to its employees as a new project section has been completed in the expanded portion of the office. The new section is meant to facilitate workers in outstanding, current and future construction projects undertaken by the construction giant.
Promotion of travel to Jursammic Park has also been a focus. Showcasing several architectural wonders, Jursammic Park has widely been revered for its construction masterpieces most of which have been undertaken by Sam Co.

Hello Crafty Miners! Welcome to the latest news update from the World of RAAR. This week features a couple of new construction updates, so let's get to it.
THE BIG DIG
Last week, RAAR News announced the start of excavation at the new Trans-Hub station site. During the course of the week, much has changed. With excavation complete, Imperial City Council gave the green light to begin work on the new subway station. Tunnels have been slowly worming their way around the city towards future subway station sites and a new cart system has also been designed to streamline the launcher/receiver process.
"We're excited for this project to finally be undertaken." said Mayor Talamer shortly after the Tuesday Council meeting came to a close. "It'll really adds another layer to our much needed transportation system."
Tri-C Engineering crews have two more tunnels to begin digging and three more that are halfway dug to new subway station locations. No timeline has been given for the expected completion of the digs.
SAM CO. EXPANSION
Tuesday's Council meeting also brought forward the official request of Sam Co.'s office expansion. As expected, Council approved the request with delight.
Almost immediately upon hearing the approval verdict, Sam Co. crews went to work on the second floor expansion adding more office floor space, an elevator, and even a gift shop. In a phone conversation with Sam Co. Owner, SammyMacman, he said, "I'm very pleased with Council's decision and look forward to working with them more."
There are still a few odds and ends to take care of before the second floor of Imperial Plaza can be opened to Sam Co. employees. "Possibly this week." commented SammyMacman when asked about a completion date.

Welcome back to the World of RAAR, Crafty Miners! Today in the news we have just a few things to cover so let's get started.
SEEING THE LIGHT
This past week construction crews finally completed the arduous task of upgrading Imperial City's street lighting system. The new system features a sleek design that removes the clutter of the old system and replaces it with a powerful solar efficient alternative.
The upgrade took longer then expected due to the inclusion of a design change in the road curbs. This extended the previous estimate of one month for the upgrade up to two. Future extensions to the city are planned to include this new lighting system.
MORE SPACE NEEDED
In a request to Imperial City Council, President SammyMacman of Sam Co. Construction has requested more office space for his blossoming business. Council has yet to officially review and reply to the request, but RAAR news reporters suspect space located within Imperial Plaza may be approved for the expansion. We will bring you more as this develops.
THE HOLE STORY
For months now, the land adjacent to Imperial City Hall and Opera House has remained vacant with only an abandoned length of rail to be seen. This week City Council approved a plan to turn the vacant lot into the permanent home of the Trans-Hub station.
"Currently, only a test Trans-Hub station exists within the city." said Mayor Talamer in a press conference held early Friday morning. "Plans have always been that pending the success of the Trans-Hub test station, we would construct a permanent facility for our citizens"
Tri-C Engineering has already begun excavating the new Trans-Hub site, which will provide a city-wide local public transportation system. A connection to the Grand Central train station will also allow locals access to the international transportation system.
Once construction crews complete excavation, the current Trans-Hub test station will be physically moved to the new site and the underground subway system will begin to take shape. Council has not yet released information on what will take the place of the old test station. We will keep you up to date on this latest project.

Today we travel to the borders between The Imperial Empire, Trevoria and Riah-topia where a remote rail hub stands firmly planted in the midst of a vast ocean. The Transfer Station was originally built on a simple cobblestone platform that protruded from the ocean floor. It allowed the original Imperial Rail Line to connect with a small island known as Ender Island and further to the distant shores of another continent where once stood the frontier outpost, Fort Dodge.
When the kingdoms of Trevoria and Riah-topia were created, the Transfer Station became an important rail hub, where travelers could switch trains to any of the three realms. This required the station to be upgraded to include for a map, automatic rail car dispensers and most importantly, more walking space.
Shortly after the upgrade was completed, a giant squid emerged from the ocean deep causing widespread panic. However, this was short lived when it was revealed that the squid was actually very friendly and a vegetarian. To ensure the enormous squid would not go on a destructive rampage, residents of nearby Imperial City decided to feed the squid a plethora of trees each day. So far, the creature has remained docile next to the Transfer Station.
The Transfer Station is currently owned and operated by the Trans-Hub Corporation who acquired the station in order to expand their transportation network. Interviews with Trans-Hub Corporation executives have revealed a future expansion may be in store to incorporate a canal linkup and walkway large enough for RAARians to ride horses on. No date has been set for when the upgrade may happen.

Welcome back Crafty Miners! Today in follow up to the walk through video released earlier this week, we will take a look at the Trans-Hub Station.
The Trans-Hub was built to combine multiple modes of transportation under one roof. This way people could not only have a one stop shop to cruise around Imperial City but also have the ability to choose how they wanted to travel. Test Station 1 was built to see if all the features could be combined into one small structure.
After nearly three months of testing, the City Planning commissioner has reported a success in operation and is now in the process of finding a suitable location for the Trans-Hub Station and the implementation of teleport booths and subway stations. The current Trans-Hub Test Station will be physically moved to a new centralized location, though no time frame has been given for this move. Once the infrastructure is in place, citizens will have a teleportation, rail and canal system available to navigate all of Imperial City.

When Talamer first began playing on this map, he ran to the side of a mountain and dug a hidey-hole to stay safe from the monsters of Minecraft. Over the years that hiding place grew bigger, eventually becoming Imperial City's first building; Imperial Plaza. The entire structure was carved out of a mountain.
Some time later, a new building emerged from the neighboring mountain. This sandstone and glass structure has became the City Museum. In the image below you can see the Museum sandwiched between Imperial Plaza and Sky tower. (Sky Tower was also carved from a mushroom shaped mountain and was at one time the highest you could build in Minecraft, though that has changed since.)
Other buildings soon emerged from the mountainous landscape. Below you can see the brick art gallery.
Once quartz was added to the game, a classical style pool and spa were built. (left-hand side of below picture) On the right-hand side of the image below, you can see the beginnings of the Imperial City Library which was also carved from a mountain.
Once the outer edge of the city was constructed, Talamer's building focus turned to moving northward. This required cutting through the mountains with a great supply of TNT. Below is the initial start of the terraforming project know as 'The Cut'.
As the terraforming project went on, a new building emerged. Grand Central Station is the train hub of Imperial City connecting all the lands of The Imperial Empire with the lands of Jursammic Park, Riahtopia and Trevoria.
Once completed, the Grans Central Station was the largest transportation hub on the server, though it has since been dethroned by the creation of Trans-Hub which combines teleporation, trains and a canal system into one compact hub.
