- SPOTLIGHT - Expo Center

Hello Crafty Miners! Welcome back to the World of RAAR and another edition of Spotlight. This week we travel back to Imperial City to visit the Expo Center located in Tri-C Tower. So let's get to it!

Located on the third floor of the Tri -C Tower, the Expo Center was built in anticipation for the release of 1.8. Once released, the new items and features were showcased and displayed in the Expo Center allowing RAAR inhabitants to see all the new items available and play with the new features.

No news has yet been released on when 1.9 might come out, however employees at the Expo Center are eager to pack away Expo 1.8 and begin setup for Expo 1.9. Only time will tell when that might be.

-SPOTLIGHT - Shaolin Palace

Hello Crafty Miners, and welcome back to another edition of Spotlight. This week we travel to a far off land to explore the architecture of the Shaolin Palace, so let's get to it!

Conceived by SammyMacman and constructed by his construction company, Sam Co, The Shaolin Palace stands as another epic build in the World of RAAR. The location was discovered while SammyMacman was out exploring and scouting new locations for future building projects. Along the way, he spotted this amazing landscape that sparked an idea.

The Palace is embedded into the rocky cliffs of a central mountain and utilizes smooth orange sandstone and dark oak wood as a contrast. The customized lanterns are made from lamps with a pressure plate on top and with an armor stand sitting on top of that to activate the power. Personalized banners are attached to the sides of the lamps to give it the lantern appearance.

Positioned next to the Palace mount is a bonsai shaped tree contorted to encircle a single orange beam of light. Beneath its bows at the base is a teleportation station which allows quick travel from the Jursammic Park Transport Station located near Grimshire.

Opposite the giant bonsai tree on another rocky mountain is the secluded meditation hut. Constructed out of the same materials as the Palace, the hut serves as a refuge for the Grand Master.

We hope you have enjoyed this look at another monumental build. Thank you for liking and commenting on this post and sharing with your friends. We appreciate all the feedback and look forward to bringing you more builds via this blog and our YouTube channel. Until we meet again, Happy Crafting!

-SPOTLIGHT- Piazza Clock Tower

Hello Crafty Miners and welcome to another edition of Spotlight. This week we pass over the bridge from Imperial City into the town of Venice and explore the Piazza. So let's get to it.

Venice is a fairly new town built in the great Galactic Ocean. Co-founded by both Imperial City Mayor Talamer and Sam Co. owner SammyMacman, the town started as an architectural project to showcase some Italian style buildings. Since its creation however, the town has been opened up to visitors and has allowed residents to move in.

At the center of this floating paradise is the Piazza. Designed and built by Sam Co, the Piazza or plaza is an open space with a clock tower located at the center. The area was one of the first structures to be built in Venice and serves as a place for street vendors, festivals and outdoor markets to gather together with locals and tourists.

The clock tower is currently the tallest structure in Venice. It was constructed using Acacia wood and quartz.

Thanks for exploring this new town with us. We hope you have enjoyed this brief look at the Piazza Clock Tower. Let us know in the comments if you'd like to explore more of this area and make sure you continue to build, create and explore. Until we meet again, Happy Crafting!
