-World of RAAR News!- Aug 09, 2014
Hello Crafty Miners and welcome to the long awaited edition of RAAR News! We hope you all have been enjoying your summer vacations. Ours has been quite busy and full of adventure. Its been awhile since the last news update and we've compiled quite a few new stories and builds to share. So let's get to it!
PORT DAVIES OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Imperial City is now connected to the waterways of the world with the completion of the new port facility. Shipping containers have already been arriving containing new technologies and building materials, many of which were featured at Expo 1.8. The Port Davies crane, 'Frasier', has been hard at work 24-7 since the opening of the facility early last month and looks to continue to be busy. A new shipment containing rabbits, banners, red sandstone bricks and the various kinds of wood fences, which were recently unveiled at Expo 1.8, will be arriving shortly.
TRANS-HUB STATION RELOCATED
Tri-C Engineering crews were hard at work in late June in preparation to move the Trans-Hub test station to it's new permanent home across the street. In early July, crews began moving the three story structure and in a record pace time, the building was positioned and secured within a day.
Trans-Hub officials were pleased with the swiftness of the move and now have their own staff working diligently hard to complete the rail connections and get teleportation systems online. Once these priority steps have been completed, the canal linkup is then expected to take place.

CHA-CHING!
Over the past month, Sam Co. Construction has been hard at work developing one of the few remaining downtown lots in Imperial City. Silverfisch's Department Store has taken shape quickly during that time, with many of the floors now being installed. No set date has been revealed for the grand opening, but residents are pleasantly excited for the completion of this multistory facility.
A ROOF OVERHEAD
After months of being on hold, engineers have finally signed off on the roof design of The Bank of Ender and construction crews were swiftly sent to work. The roof has been on hold since mid-april pending a design flaw that was weeded out during initial fabrication. Sam Co. had to take the roof plans back to the design team for a complete overhaul.
With the new design approved, work progressed quickly on site with crews having the roof in place within a week. Now that the roof has been put in place, construction has moved to inside the bank.GOING POSTAL
Imperial City now has a Post Office.
Early last month, City Council approved plans to build this communication center. The lot located next to Monson Heights, had been vacant for some time, but within a few weeks of approval, Tri-C Engineering had the newly designed post office complete. Inside, residents of Imperial City each have their own personal mailboxes and can send messages to each other quickly and easily.
"This is another step in bringing our residents closer together and allowing them to communicate freely." said Mayor Talamer during the council approval meeting. "We hope it will be well used."
MOVING UP IN THE WORLD
Mayor Talamer has officially moved into the penthouse of Monson Heights. Located in the heart of downtown Imperial City, Monson Heights is a residential tower that has taken shape over the last year. Last week, crews finished up the last touches of the interior design and movers promptly brought in the furniture.
"It'll be nice to wake up with a view of the city." said the Mayor, "I won't have any more excuses for being late to council meetings."
More move-ins are expected in the near future. Little_Owl_Girl has been working with interior designers on her apartment as well.

UNDERNEATH IT ALL
Construction crews have completed an underground expansion to Monson Heights. An underground horse garage has been installed, allowing apartment owners a spot to park their trusted steeds. Inspired by a SethBling design, the garage can hold up to 11 horses. It's compact design has sparked an interest in using the design in other parking required instances.
JURSAMMIC INFRASTRUCTURE
Infrastructure within Jursammic Park has continued to be developed by Sam Co. Construction. Sign Totems and waypoint structures have been springing up all over the kingdom. In an interview with Sam Co. owner, SammyMacman he said, "We want to make it easy for tourists to navigate through Jursammic Park on horseback. These upgrades should help do that."
There are still a few areas that require this upgrade, but for the most part Jursammic Park has become accessible to all.

MONSON HEIGHTS GETS FIRST RESIDENT
SammyMacman, owner and operator of the Sam Co. construction company, has fast tracked his new apartment in Monson Heights to completion. The luxurious double floor suite has taken shape over the past week with Sam Co. construction crews finishing up work late Monday night.
RAAR News was granted access to the apartment for a photo op on Wednesday afternoon. The swanky-looking suite overlooks the majestic Imperial City Opera House which Sam Co. crews have put on hold till new technology arrives in the city.
The elevator also had a minor face lift with the installation of some glass panels.

The layout of the station is also being overhauled to make it easier to access and navigate.CATHEDRAL CONTINUES TO TAKE SHAPE

-World of Raar News!- Apr. 25, 2014
Welcome back Crafty Miners! It's Friday, which means time for the weekly News. Let's get to it.
REACHING NEW HEIGHTS
MODERNIZING
In the land of Riah-topiah, Little Owl Girl has begun redesigning her island paradise. Over the years, animals have been attracted to the island and eventually they overtook it. To regain control, a mass purge of the overrun animal population was required. With the grisly task completed, she began to redesign her existing home, giving it a more modern flair. The interior was also gutted and plans for a new layout have already been put in the works.
ARCHITECTURE IN GLASS
Lord TNT has continued to oversee the progress of his cathedral in Trevoria. This week, construction crews hoisted up the latest stained glass creation and secured it in it's new home at the center of the entrance tower. It is not known what the next step will be in this monstrous building, but one thing is clear, the attention to detail remains stunning.
STABLE-IZING STALLS
Horse stalls have begun to be installed inside Lady TNT's enormous breeding stable. The stable, which has seen much of the exterior completed to this point, looks to have construction crews moved indoors for the next while. According to sources, Little Owl Girl has been aiding Lady TNT in her design efforts.

-World of Raar News!- Apr. 04, 2014
Hello Crafty Miners! Welcome to another edition of the weekly Raar News.
Tri-C Engineering crews made more progress on the new residential tower. Three of the four sides were completely erected with the forth and final side still in process. The job site foreman confirmed to Raar News that the exterior of the building is on pace for completion early next week with crews planning to then switch over to completing the roof while an interior design contractor will begin their work on the lobby.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - THE BANK OF ENDER
Earlier this week, Sam Co. crews worked to restructure the south side of the bank. The new design was implemented to reflect architectural changes made by SammyMacman. These changes were then incorporated into the north side facade. The bank continues to take shape and has received high praise from Imperial City residents.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - MONSON HEIGHTS
APRIL FOOLS
This week April fools had everyone running around in villager costumes and making funny sounds as they walked and worked. City Council has dubbed this annual event as International Talk Like A Villager Day.
UPDATED CITY MAP
The City Planning Commissioner released an updated citywide map on Tuesday. The revised map now shows the Opera House, City Hall, Holland Hills, The Bank of Ender and Monson Heights. 'Since January, Imperial City has nearly doubled in size and continues to grow.' said the Commissioner during the map release press conference. He also indicated more growth is expected in the near future.
SECRET NEW PROJECTS IN THE FUTURE?
This week, Raar News was able to obtain images of possible future construction projects within Imperial City. Based on the images obtained, the city seems to be in the process of planning a Cargo Yard and Harbor area in the south and a new bridge in the north. When asked about the documents, the City Planning and Zoning Commissioners refused to comment, stating that the images were merely 'conceptual drawings for possible city growth', however they did not rule out the possibility that these projects might be undertaken at a future time period.

Until Next Week
Thanks for continuing to make this fun. We are grateful for all the suggestions and help from the community. Special thanks to Keegan for the Harbor/Cargo Yard suggestion... looks like things might be moving ahead (*speculation*). Also thanks to Mackie D for your help with the new World of Raar Google+ Community page which can be found and followed at the below link. -World of Raar News!- Mar. 28, 2014
Welcome back Crafty Miners! This week in the World of Raar there are some big construction projects starting up. Let's take a look:
THE BANK OF ENDER BREAKS GROUND
With the Opera House now waiting for new equipment to be shipped in, Sam Co. has begun shifting their building crews to the Bank of Ender construction site. They have quickly made progress on the exterior during the coarse of the week with three sides nearly erected.
Speaking with Raar News, SammyMacman stated his excitement for the new project and is glad his crews are able to utilize the slowdown on the Opera House to their advantage.
In related news, Sam Co. submitted a proposal to acquire the land directly adjacent to the Bank and City Hall in order to establish a park. The proposal stated that more green space in the city core would be beneficial to the area and give the downtown a warmer feeling then just cold buildings. In a statement released by the local Environment Commissioner, it said "adding more green space to an emerging city such as ours is definitely an investment and is a big step in beautifying Imperial City."
Upon review of the proposal during Wednesday's council meeting, city officials unanimously voted to green light the project. "It's another wonderful addition by Sam Co." said the Mayor after the votes were tallied and the project approved.
BACK TO THE FUTURE
In a look to the distant past, the Imperial Library released before and after pictures of Imperial City. "It's truly amazing to see how far things have come and to see all the changes that have taken place over the years." said Mayor Talamer upon viewing the images. "What fun look at the past."

MESA AND GLASS EXHIBITS OPENED
The Imperial City Museum has officially opened their latest exhibits on the ninth floor. The Mesa and Glass exhibits are now on display for public viewing and now bring the museum's number of permanent exhibits to three. Future exhibits will include the Redstone Exhibit, the Transport Exhibit and the Natural Science exhibit, which is expected to be quite extensive.STREET LIGHT UPGRADES NEARING COMPLETION

City crews report that nearly all of the original street lights have now been upgraded to the new solar powered system. So far the new lights have received positive reviews, many praising the clean look and design. "It's definately opened the city up. It doesn't feel as cluttered." said the City Planning Commissioner.
REACHING NEW HEIGHTS
Tri-C Engineering has begun work on a new skyscraper this week. Monson Heights will be a multistory building planned mainly for the use of residential apartments. One of those apartments will be the future home of Mayor Talamer. Construction on this sky reaching structure began Wednesday and is expected to last for several months.

CATHEDRAL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
In Trevoria, the cathedral project continues to progress. The central structure is currently the main focus with more spires being added. Considering the craftsmen's eye for detail, the cathedral project has proceeded quickly.
HORSE STABLE UPDATE
Also in Trevoria, the newest horse stable project has also continued along with the walls now complete and exterior stalls starting to take shape.
